Costello-Childs Contemporary Fine Art is located in the historic “Gold Spot” building in the Roosevelt Historic District of downtown Phoenix, Arizona. The “Gold Spot”, built in the early 1920’s, has undergone extensive renovation, retaining much of its vintage feeling as well as offering an ideal contemporary exhibition space - with exposed beams, scored concrete floors, great ambient light and 15 ft. ceilings. The gallery also features a large private courtyard that, along with hosting special events, is utilized to display larger outdoor sculpture.

Costello-Childs Contemporary features the works of emerging and mid-career artists of regional, national and international note. The gallery features works in various mediums that include paintings, works on paper, photography, and sculpture, among others. Costello-Childs is a full service gallery offering art consultation, on site presentations, project specific commissions, custom framing, delivery and installation. Our focus is to serve the needs of the beginning as well as the established art collector and to provide the design industry with quality works of art for residential, commercial, corporate and hospitality projects.

The owners of Costello-Childs Contemporary, Michael Costello and Daryl Childs bring a combined 50+ years experience to their gallery, working in various aspects of the arts that have included educational, administrative, curatorial and directorial positions. They bring to their business a love of art and design, a belief in the power of developing and maintaining enduring relationships with their artists and with their clients. The gallery’s approach is relaxed, personable, perceptive and focused towards establishing one of the country’s premier contemporary art venues.
